History

The birth of Blinds For Your Home began many decades ago, long before the inception of it’s current name and identity.  It is a sibling of Rodco Draperies AB LTD, which was founded in the early 1970’s by Roger Comartin.

He then passed it on to his youngest brother Jamie Comartin when Roger decided to move to Victoria to be closer to his wife’s family. At that time he started Rodco Interiors in Victoria B.C. and is currently still there.

Jamie took over Rodco AB in the mid 80s and ran it to the early 2000s. James then decided to take early retirement and passed Rodco AB on to Joseph Comartin. Joseph took over and always had been around draperies and blinds, so it came to him very easily. Joseph has managed and run Rodco since 2001.

The Present

In recent years draperies have become less prevalent in the market, which led Joseph decide to evolve Rodco into Blinds For Your Home due to the increase in demand for the vast array of blinds that can be used for windows.

Blinds For Your Home’s mission is to provide an extremely high level of customer service, while keeping cost conscious and delivering a solution that closely meets the customer’s needs.
